Pamela Cuadros

Artistic Director & Surfing Program Director

Pamela’s passion for graphics began in her early teen years and has since blossomed into a successful career in graphic design.  Originally from Santo Domingo,  the waves lured Pamela to Cabarete where she became an independent graphic artist. She studied Graphic Design, Fine Arts and Art Direction at Altos de Chavon School of Design and the School of Fine Arts in Santo Domingo, and Advertising in the University APEC (Universidad Acción Pro-Educación y Cultura).

As Mariposa’s Artistic Director, Pamela uses her talents to manage our branding and publications. She designs our annual magazine “CABARETE: Responsible Tourism & Investment Guide”, and she is also responsible for all advertising sales.  When not designing cool things for Mariposa, she is teaching our girls how to surf, serving as our Surfing Program Director. What began with a small group of girls on Saturday mornings is now a highlight of our summer programming. Her love of the ocean is contagious and many of our Mariposa girls aspire to be hitting the waves with Pamela!
