Meredith Ordonio

Programs & Swimming Teacher

Meredith is originally from Denver, Colorado but as of the last 3 years has grown to now call the Dominican Republic home. She attended Creighton University, studying public health and justice/peace studies. During her time at Creighton, she came to the DR for the first time and fell in love with the country.

After graduation, she knew she had to come back full-time working at ILAC in Santiago for a year in 2025. She joins the Mariposa team to take leadership over our swimming and watersports programs. Coming to Mairposa, Meredith is excited to see the capacity that the girls at Mariposa have to be change makers in their community and beyond!
