Angela joined the Mariposa Foundation in the Spring of 2023. Born and raised in Gaspar Hernandez, a small city roughly 20 km outside of Cabarete, Angela graduated from high school in Veragua and went on to study Public Accounting at UTESA in Puerto Plata. At a young age Angela began working alongside her father, a businessman who sold fruit and owned plant nurseries, who ignited her liking towards math, numbers, economics, and business management that eventually motivated her to continue on this path. She is one of three siblings and has a young daughter who she hopes will be a Mariposita one day. Angela is excited by all that she can learn from the Mariposa girls and is a peaceful person who enjoys and appreciates the calm and healthy working environment at the Mariposa Foundation.
